2021/2022 MUA/NIA Scholarship Programme now open for high school graduates

Registration is now open for the 2021-2022 Medical University of the Americas – Nevis Island Administration Scholarship Programme.

 

Each year a total of two (2) high school graduates with an exceptional academic record will have a chance to be selected for the programme.

 

To be eligible, students must be 18 years of age, must be a citizen of St. Kitts/Nevis, must have at least 5 CXC CSEC passes including Mathematics, English and at least 1 Science subject and must be active in Community service.

 

This scholarship can be awarded of up to 4 years at: the University of the West Indies (UWI), any 4 year United States based Institution or the Medical University of the Americas (MUA).

 

In a release from the Ministry, it states that the two recipients will be expected to start their studies August of this year to February 2022.

 

Applications must be typewritten and submitted via hard copy to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health here on Nevis or call 469-5521 ext. 6490 for more information.

 

The registration process will end on Friday, June 25th, 2021.
