“A limited curfew” commenced on Friday April 3rd, 2020 to allow residents to purchase necessities

Almost 16 hours before the period for the total “Lockdown” ended on Friday, April 3rd 2020, St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, in an address to the nation, announced a time for residents to purchase their necessities. 

 

The “Lockdown” began at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 and ended at 6:00 a.m., Friday April 3rd, 2020. 

 

The Prime Minister in his Address on Thursday April 2nd, mentioned the time-frame for shopping.

In an address earlier this week, the Prime Minister stated that there is “no need to engage in impulsive buying” at the supermarkets.
