Section 9 (Education and religious instruction) of the Statutory Rules and Orders (SRO) No. 16 of 2020 Emergency Powers (CoVID-19) (No. 7) Regulations, states that: “(1) All religious and educational places of instruction or worship shall remain closed and (2) Sub-regulation (1) does not prohibit any activity referred to therein by electronic or virtual means.

This means that the religious and educational places of instruction or worship, are allowed to virtually meet (for example on apps, such as Skype, Zoom, Webex etc), as SKN continues to fight against the Coronavirus.

Meantime, Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, said we are not in the all clear just yet.
