First flights to St. Kitts and Nevis arrived on November 7th

The Federal and local Government have openly expressed their hope in revitalizing the country’s economy, through the reintroduction of air traffic since the announcement date of the borders re-opening. 

 

Every sector of government particularly the Hospitality sector has experienced massive losses in revenue, since the closure of the borders on March 25th, 2020.

 

Premier Brantley spoke about the impacts experienced since the closure of the country’s borders here on Nevis:

Meantime, 

 

British Airways has suspended flights to four Caribbean islands namely: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica and St. Lucia. 

 

The notice was issued following the UK Government’s announcement of a national lockdown for London.
