Nevis to observe UN’s “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” with Awareness activities

For 16 days, the Nevis Department of Gender Affairs will draw attention to gender-based violence, when it joins in the observance of the United Nation’s (UN) “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence”.  

 

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls.

 

The campaign runs every year from November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women to December 10th Human Rights Day.
