Taiwanese investors to explore business interest here in St. Kitts and Nevis

Several business investors from Taiwan will visit the federation later this year to explore business interests.


 According to information provided by the Government Information Service (SKNIS), Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris met with National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Republic of China (NASME) on June 8th 2017 to discuss investment opportunities in St. Kitts and Nevis.


NASME was founded on 17th July, 1972.

 

Its members come from every field of industry in Taiwan, including manufacturing, service and retail industries.


NASME extended its service overseas and has established cooperative economic and trade relations with 130 global organizations from 78 countries.


In addition, Prime Minister Harris met with James C.F. Huang, the chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

At that meeting cooperation in the area of medical tourism was explored.


TAITRA is a non-profit trade promotion organization in Taiwan, founded in 1970 to help promote foreign trade.
