Murder Suspect turns himself in to Police

The 3rd murder suspect that was sought by police in the Leanna Napoleon homicide investigation, surrendered to police on Wednesday morning (June 21).

The suspect, 19-year-old Ivan Phillip alias “Chinyman” of Shadwell, was accompanied by his attorney Jason Hamilton.


The body of missing 17-year-old Leanna Napoleon was found in Olivees Mountain (St. Kitts) last Wednesday, June 14.


In the wake of the discovery of the body, her 19-year-old brother, Brandon Lee Wells of Buckley’s Estate (Basseterre) was taken into police custody, and charged with her murder.


Another young man, 18-year-old Travien Liddie of St. Johnston Village was arrested last weekend and on Monday June 19th, he was charged with Leanna’s murder.


Police revealed on Monday, that a warrant was issued for Phillip, with the intention to charge him with murder.


This media house also understands, that Phillip was last seen June 13th, eight (8) days prior to his surrender to authorities.
