TWO OF SEVEN MEN ACCUSED OF MURDER SET FREE

The trial of seven men accused of the stabbing death of Eric Weeks, took another twist yesterday, as two of the accused were acquitted of the murder charge.

Kareem Dore of Pond Hill represented by Vernon Viera and Kyam

Warner represented by Anthony Johnson were absolved of" their charges after their defence counsels submitted no-case submissions to presiding Judge Justice Davidson Baptiste.

Justice Baptiste having reviewed the submissions agreed that there was not enough evidence to facilitate a continuance.

Court has been adjourned until 20 May when the case will continue against the five others in the persons of Kishmoy Challenger, Jermaine Freeman, Ashton Williams, Marius Webbe and Ashley Freeman.
