High Court Judge reserves Judgement in Elections Petition Case

The Petitioners and Respondents in the 2004 Election Petitions Case, will have to wait a while longer to know what direction the said matter will take.

Resident High Court Judge, Justice Davidson Baptiste has reserved judgement in “no case” submissions brought by lawyers for the three successful candidates of the St. Kitts/Nevis Labour Party in the October 24th 2004 General Election.

Applications of no case submission were submitted on behalf of the Hon. Rupert Herbert in a hearing on April 25th and 26th; Hon. Cedric Liburd on May 12th and 13th and Hon. Dr. Earl Asim Martin on May 17th and 18th.

The petitions were filed by Lindsay Grant, Eugene Hamilton and Glenroy Blanchette of the Peoples Action Movement.

Justice Baptiste is expected to give individual rulings on the same date.
