Museum to be Launched as part the ECCB Contribution to the 25th Anniversary of OECS
January 23, 2006

The organization of Eastern Caribbean States will this year observe its 25th anniversary.

It was on June 18th 1981, the leaders of the eight islands signed an accord in Basseterre formally establishing the sub-grouping.

One of the pillars of that regional group is the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.

As part of activities to mark the historic occasion, the bank intends to launch a Museum, which will feature photographs from the various islands in the group.

These photographs are expected to come from an OECS Photography competition, organized by the Bank.
