SPECIAL OLYMPICS COMMITTEE TO HOLD WEEK OF ACTIVITIES

The Special Olympics Committee here in St. Kitts and Nevis will hold a week of activities starting from February 4th.

The activities will commence with a parade from the Nevis Cultural Centre at 9am and will culminate at the Grove Park where the opening ceremony will take place.

This is the first time that the parade and opening ceremony is being held on Nevis.

Other activities to be held as part of the observance include, a church service, a bake sale and an athletes appreciation day where the athletes will be treated by a government official.

Less fortunate athletes will also be provided with assistance as part of a healthy athletes programme
