CULINARY STUDENTS GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET INTERNATTIONAL CULINARY EXPERIENCE

Culinary students here in St. Kitts and Nevis have an opportunity to articulate their love for culinary arts and win great prizes.

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has announced a culinary contest dubbed -The Rising Culinary Star Contest.

This competition has been launch by Bon Appétit, America’s Food & Entertaining Magazine, in collaboration with the Caribbean Tourism Organisation(CTO).

Culinary students 18 years or older, are asked to submit a brief essay of approximately 500 words, on what or who has inspired them to pursue a culinary career and what they hope to accomplish as a professional chef.

The winner will receive: Round-trip coach airfare to New York City; Accommodations for three nights; All meals; A day of shopping at local markets and one private cooking class with Bon Appétit’s Executive Chef;.............

..........Opportunity to act as sous chef to Bon Appétit’s Executive Chef and prepare and host a dinner in Bon Appétit’s dining room.
