Throughout the month of February a number of consultations for youth are expected to be conducted.

It forms part of efforts to construct “Youth Path” which was launched earlier this month.

The project launched by Director General of UNESCO, His Excellency Koichiro Maatsura, has been implemented in 8 other Caribbean islands.

It has been organized by the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO),to target youth between the ages of 15 and 25 years in the Caribbean to utilize innovative skills.........

..........For sustainable development in the areas of Community Heritage, Tourism and the preservation of Tourism sites.

The project has significance to the Federation as it is structured in a way that it would assist in the nation’s tourism sector and sustainable development agenda.

It would also aid meeting the millennium development goals, the goals of education for all, fostering entrepreneurial skills and inculcating a sense of heritage in today’s youth.
