Police here on Nevis have made a breakthrough in their investigations into a number breaking offences which occurred in the Charlestown area, between Sunday 5th and Wednesday 8th February.

Following a similar report today, Kishon Rawlins alias “ Caesar” of Ponds Pasture, St. Kitts, was nabbed by an Officer of the Criminal Investigation Department.

Rawlins had just checked out of a Guesthouse in Charlestown and had two bags in his possession.

A search of the bags revealed a number of items including a lap top computer, a digital camera and cellular phones, which were later identified by the complainants.

Rawlins was arrested and charged with three counts of Building Breaking and Larceny.

Investigations into the other offences are ongoing.

The general public is being advised to be cautious when purchasing goods and appliances from persons, who are not known to deal in such items or operate licensed businesses.
