“No room in Nevis” for acts of Vandalism on crops & livestock, says Premier

Agriculture continues to remain important here in the Federation of  St. Kitts and Nevis and because of the COVID-19 pandemic, various individuals have sought to grow their own crops in an effort to become self-reliant. 

 

Despite the efforts in Agriculture, back in January saw a few instances of the destruction of crops and livestock (farm animals) here on Nevis. 

 

Nevis’ Premier – the Hon. Mark Brantley condemned the acts of vandalism:

 

 

The Premier added that the Vandalism acts impedes the growth of agriculture on the island:

 

 

He spoke of what the local Government has done, to assist farmers.
