St. Kitts and Nevis has lost one of its Centenarians in the person of Mr. George Duggins.  

This was announced by the St. Kitts Department of Community Development and Social Services  on Friday, January 22^nd, 2021. 

Mr. Duggins was laid to rest on Thursday, January 21^st, 2021. 

The Statement issued in light of his passing from the Department of Community Development and Social Services states: “We are saddened to learn of the passing of one of our Centenarians, Mr. George Duggins who died at the age of 100. It was his wish to live to see 100 and he was blessed to reach this milestone in sound mind, good health and high spirits. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Mr. Duggins at this time.”  

In attendance of Mr. Duggins funeral were St. Kitts Director – Mrs. Osslyn Ward- Harris and Deputy Director – Ms. Ann Wigley.
