Taiwanese Expert on Non-Communicable Diseases at work in SKN

Technical Expert, Mr. William Chen from the Republic of China (Taiwan) is in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis for a four year stay, working with key stakeholders to look at early intervention on NCDs.

 

Junior Minister of Health, the Hon. Hazel Brandy Williams thanked the Republic of China (Taiwan) for its assistance in the Nevis Island Administration’s efforts at preventing and controlling Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) on the island. 

 

Hon. Brandy-Williams explained some of the work Mr. Chen will be conducting during his stay here in St. Kitts and Nevis:

 

 

Since his recent installation, Mr. Chen has taken part in the RISE Program/Health Promotion Unit Workshop in Nevis on November 11th, 2020, which focused on Food and Nutrition and the COVID-19 environment. 

 

Mr. Chen has also held meetings with workers in the Ministry of Health on Nevis to outline his strategic plans with regard to his overall agenda.
