Chair of Nevis’ Task Force, Dr. Judy Nisbett has expressed to the Nevisian public that the Coronavirus (CoVID-19), changed the lifestyles for many persons here in the Federation.
Because of the Coronavirus, Health authorities have provided advice as to how to avoid contracting the disease, such as the washing of hands frequently, the wearing of N-95 masks, social and physical distancing measures (such as 6 ft apart from an individual).
For the business sectors, here on Nevis, customers are allowed into establishments whether 2 or 3 at a time and have had reduced operating hours.
To date, the Federation has 15 confirmed cases of the virus, 8 recovered cases (which represents 50 percent of the confirmed cases) and zero deaths.
Taking into consideration the above mentioned, Dr. Nisbett made these remarks.
