13,762 passenger crossings recorded from Nevis during St. Kitts Music Festival
The voice of Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark. Brantley during his presentation in a sitting of the Nevis Island Assembly on Thursday July 3rd.
The numbers were a combination of the passengers recorded at the Charlestown Pier and the Oualie Water Facility. A total of 5686 used the Charlestown ferries while 8076 used the Oualie Facility.
Premier Brantley spoke on the growth of the festival and the integral part the facilities played in allowing the transport between the islands during one of the summer’s largest events as well as the benefits it allowed to residents in both St. Kitts and Nevis.
He also encouraged persons in St. Kitts to follow suit in supporting the upcoming events in Nevis including the Mango Festival and Culturama.
