2019 Atlantic Hurricane Season was “relatively average”, so says NDMD’s Director
With just a few days left before the official end of the 2019 Atlantic Hurricane Season, Disaster officials are revealing that the season was not the worst on record and that there were a few highlights. The season began on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 and will conclude on Saturday, November 30th, 2019.
One such official, is the Director of the Nevis Disaster Management Department (NDMD), Mr. Brian Dyer, who in speaking to the VON NEWSLINE, gave a synopsis of the season.
Mr. Dyer also explained what contributed to the season being recorded as relatively average.
