In sensitizing the Nevisian public, and by extension, residents and citizens of the Federation, of plans to improve the water supply here on Nevis, Premier, the Hon. Mark Brantley, has named a few plans to help remedy the drought situation on the island.
Climate change has resulted in warmer temperatures, sea level rise, reduced annual and seasonal rainfall as well as the occurrence of extreme weather events in the future, such as hurricanes, cyclones and typhoons.
