2022 Tourism Awareness Month begins, Carnival Spirit makes maiden call to SKN

Tourism Awareness Month 2022, which runs from November 1st to the 30th, began last week and this month will be used to focus on the “Education of the people.”

 

 

 

The 2021 celebration of the month, concentrated on re-energizing the sector post COVID-19. Federal Minister of Tourism,  Hon. Marsha Henderson, said those involved in the Tourism industry in St. Kitts, such as taxi operators, will have opportunities to improve their businesses.

 

 

 

 

 

Additionally, the Ministry of Tourism (St. Kitts) is holding a month of activities.

 

 

 

Meantime, Carnival Spirit made its maiden cruise call on St. Kitts and Nevis, on Wednesday November 9th, making it the first call from Carnival Cruise Line to dock at Port Zante in Basseterre, St. Kitts for the 2022-2023 season. It has a capacity of 2,124 passengers and 930 crew members.

 

 

 

In terms of the cruise season, St. Kitts is anticipated to have cruise calls, while Nevis, is expected to see 46 cruise calls.
