That was the voice of Local Minister for the Ministry of Agriculture, Hon. Eric Evelyn, during the opening ceremony for the 2023 Agri-EXPO today (Thursday, March 30th).
Minister Evelyn then explained the reason behind the name change from the Agriculture Open Day to the Agri-EXPO:
Agri-EXPO Patron Collin Huggins honoured for 42 years of contributions to Fishing and Agriculture.
Meanwhile, this year’s patron of the EXPO, Mr. Collin Huggins of Bath Village, was recognized for his 42 years of service to the fishing and agriculture sectors.
During the opening ceremony, a representative from the Department of Agriculture gave a summary of his journey:
Mr. Huggins was gifted an EC$ 1,000.00 cheque and a fruit basket from the department.
