The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season officially began on June 1st and in light of that, Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew in a national statement, is appealing to all to prepare for the unknown.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) forecasts a significant increase in Atlantic hurricane activity for 2024. According to NOAA, the Atlantic hurricane season, spanning from June 1 to November 30, will see an 85% probability of an above-normal season, contrasted with only a 10% likelihood of a normal season and a mere 5% chance of below-normal activity.
