New opportunities are now on the horizon as the Ministry of Human Resource in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is offering financial assistance for persons who are interested in pursuing higher education.

According to a release, the ministry will provide assistance for courses that are aligned with the government’s priority areas and the applicant(s) contribution to the island after completing their studies.

To be eligible, persons are asked to submit an original copy of the university acceptance letter, a break-down of course fees, a completed financial assistance application form and a copy of a birth certificate or certificate of citizenship.
