An Earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 was reported to have occurred near St. Kitts & Nevis on Friday morning (April 26th).
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC) said it took place at 51km NNW of Basseterre, at 5:41am.
Its location was at Latitude: 17.73 degrees N, Longitude: 62.89 degrees W, with a depth of 85 km.
Nearby cities to the epicenter included: Brades in Montserrat, approximately 128 km to the NNW and St. John’s in Antigua and Barbuda, approximately 134 km to the NNW. This is the 2nd quake recorded that occurred near SKN for April.
