A magnitude 3.8 earthquake rattled St. Kitts & Nevis on Monday February 26th.
Based on information from the UWI Seismic Research Centre’s (UWI SRC) Automatic Earthquake Location system, the quake struck at latitude 17.66 degrees North, longitude 62.06 degrees West, at a depth of 52 km.
The quake occurred 11:15am local time. The distance and direction to the epicenter was 85 km, NE of Basseterre, Saint Kitts.
