300,000 gallons of water added to Nevis’ Water Supply

Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley.

He made this announcement at his Monthly Press Conference on Thursday, November 26^th, 2020.

Water consumers here on the island have been the beneficiaries of the additional 300,000 gallons of water since Friday, November 13^th, 2020 as a result of the completion of the Hamilton Estate Reservoir.

Moreover, Premier Brantley explained how the new water filtration system would operate as well as the final tasks remaining in the completion of the Hamilton Estate reservoir:

With the completion of the project, this means that the average daily consumption of water increased from 1.6 million gallons to 2.3 million per day, a 15 percent increase in gallons of water supplied to the public.
