As the official opening of Culturama gets closer, the 3rd Senior Kaiso Tent for Culturama 2025 was held on Sunday, July 13th, at Mem’s Pizzeria on Nevis.
Performances were heard from the reigning King – Astro, Empress Lyric, De Undertaker, Pupa Wheeler, Baker, Drama Queen, West Side, Bad Man Polo, Mighty Kairo, new comer – De-Syder, Dis and Dat, Hollywood and Lady Smooth.
During Sunday’s event, West Side appeared to be the crowds favourite with a song entitled “Caricom”.
Additionally, Sunday, July 20th will be the TDC Kaiso Semi Finals at the David Freeman Center of Excellence in Gingerland. The public is encouraged to go and cheer for your favourite Calypsonian.
The slogan for this year’s summer festival is “Nevisian Pride! Second to None! Culturama 51!”
