Information from the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC), indicates that an earthquake took place near Basseterre, St. Kitts.
The magnitude 4.3 quake occurred on Friday Mar. 13th, at 3:53pm. It was located Latitude 18.60 degrees North and Longitude 63.13 degrees West, at depth of 10 km.
Friday’s quake occurred 151 km, NNW of Basseterre, St. Kitts, 218 km NW of St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda and 225 km NW of Brades, Montserrat.
There were felt reports from Anguilla and Sint Maarten. Earlier this month, a 3.5 earthquake took place north of St. Kitts on Mar. 2nd.
