Residents in the Federation and a handful of other Caribbean islands were rocked by a 4.6 magnitude quake on Tuesday afternoon (March 12th).
The UWI Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC) says it struck around 4pm, at latitude 18.91 degrees North, longitude 63.31 degrees West, at a depth of 10 km.
The distance and direction to the epicenter was 190 km, NNW of Basseterre, Saint Kitts. In addition, nearby cities include: Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda and Brades, Montserrat.
