5.2 magnitude Earthquake struck near SKN

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred sometime after 4 am, on Tuesday February 15th, the Nevis Disaster Management Department (NDMD) has confirmed.

 

According to the National Earthquake Information Center at the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was recorded at 16.78 degrees North  and 61.32 degrees West, with its closest impacted point being 24.5 miles NNE of Anse-Bertrand, Guadeloupe. It was recorded at a Depth of 47 km.
