The Police have formally arrested and charged 51-year-old Alexter Amory of New Road for the offences of Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

He was charged in relation to a firearm and ammunition that were found by the Police following a stop and search on February 21st, 2023.

One (1) .22 Pistol and fourteen (14) .22 rounds of ammunition were found and taken into custody. Amory was charged on February 22nd, 2023 and has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison.

To date, five (5) firearms have been taken into Police custody.
