At the conclusion of the preliminary round of “it’s a Nevis Knock out Public vs. Privet Sector”, 8 out of 13 competitors have made it through to the quarter finals.
The official start of the games took place on Saturday, September 24th, at the Fit Wellness Grounds. It was delayed by a week due to the passage of Tropical Storm Fiona.
The Fit Wellness Grounds were modified for the games which comprised of 10 obstacles. The completion of each obstacle carried 10 points with a maximum of 100, plus the finish times which was used to determine the qualifiers.
The top eight competitors will move on to the quarter finals while the remainders were eliminated.
The competitors through to the quarter finals are: Glenville Fahie, James Weeks, Jeffery Lewis, Francisco Dorset, Manuel Mills, Thibete Abrahams, Marcus Wilkinson and Patrice Mathews.
These contenders completed the course in times ranging from 3 minutes 16 seconds as the fastest to 4 minutes 26 seconds as the slowest time.
On October 1st 2022, the aforementioned contenders will battle for the top six positions to move on to the semi-finals. After which only four will compete in the finals, scheduled for October 8th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
