St. Kitts and Nevis sued by Belize Gov’t over sugar imports outside of CARICOM

The Government of Belize is suing St. Kitts and Nevis, along with Trinidad and Tobago for the importation of sugar outside of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). 

 

In a recent sitting of the National Assembly, Minister with responsibility of International Trade, Industry, Commerce, Consumer Affairs and Labour, the Hon. Wendy Phipps, gave a synopsis of the lawsuit:
