The St. Kitts Counselling Unit has been undertaking a Project entitled the “Community, Family and Youth Resilience program” to aid in the social difficulties families are experiencing, as well as the impacts on the wider community.
The Project ran from July 2016 to September 2020.
Director of the St. Kitts Counselling Unit, Ms. Michele de la Coudray-Blake spoke about the aim of the project:
The Community, Family and Youth Resilience Program funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) supports family networks, communities, service providers and government agencies to implement successful approaches to reduce Crime and Violence and increase opportunities for youths in St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis and Guyana.
