Three earthquakes of 4.9, 4.1 and 5.0 magnitudes occurred near Basseterre, St. Kitts on Saturday morning May 21st, disaster officials have told the VONNEWSLINE.
The UWI Seismic Research center said they occurred sometime after 12 midnight, 1: 00 a.m. and 6: 00 a.m.
They struck at a depth of 10 km.
In addition, the quakes struck near St. John’s Antigua and Barbuda and Point-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe.
