Attorney General and Federal Minister for Justice and Legal Affairs, Hon. Garth Wilkin speaking on the reason for digitalizing matters relating to the government for public accessibility.
After Wednesday’s Sitting of the National Assembly, the Gazette according to Minister Wilkin will soon be accessible to the public. Laws will be subjected to public criticism and the increase in availability to government publication is expected to result in transparency and accountability in the federation.
The Gazette will be available for viewing at no cost at gazette.gov.kn, however, any wish to print, copy and receive special access to persons such as lawyers, etc. will require a registration fee. Minister Wilkin further elaborating on the expected content of the online platform:
