“Get up-to-date. #EachVaccineCounts”.

That’s the theme for Vaccination and Immunization Week (VWA), as St. Kitts & Nevis, together with the countries and territories in the region of the Americas, celebrate the 21st annual VWA, during the period April 22nd to the 29th.

It is a regional health awareness week, celebrated every year during the last week of April, to promote equity and access to vaccination.

Dr. Drew, who is the Federal Minister of health, made this plea as he delivered an address, to commence the annual VWA:
