A man has been sentenced to serve twenty-two (22) years and six (6) months in jail for the offence of Rape, and ten (10) years for Burglary.

38-year-old Veron Richardson, commonly known as ‘Tommy’, committed the offences on December 7th 2019.

He pleaded guilty to both offences on February 6th, 2023.

On Tuesday May 2nd, His Lordship Justice Ian Morley handed down a sentence of twenty- two (22) years and six (6) months for the offence of Rape, and ten (10) years for the offence of Burglary to run concurrently.
