Police seeking assistance to locate licensed firearm

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has released a statement seeking the public’s assistance in the location of a licensed firearm. The firearm in question would have been separated from its rightful owner at the scene of a vehicular accident in Conyers, St. Kitts on June 21st, 2023.

 

 

 

Citizens and residents are reminded that both the removal of evidence from a scene being processed by law enforcement, and the possession of any firearm without a license to do so are criminal offenses. Anyone who may have information concerning the whereabouts of the firearm is asked to call the nearest Police station. Anyone who locates or has already located the firearm is also asked to turn it in to the nearest Police Station.

A vehicular accident was recorded in St. Kitts over the weekend. The incident occurred on July 1st, in the vicinity of the boulevard in New Road and involved P 6017 owned by Idella Pemberton and driven by Jermaine Pemberton.

 

 

 

Mr. Pemberton was absent from the scene of the accident when the Police arrived. Shortly thereafter, he was located at the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he sought treatment for minor injuries. He was interviewed by Police and subsequently arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Further investigations into the matter are ongoing.
