In an update about a suspected drowning, police say they are investigating the incident that occurred on Friday July 28th, at Willet’s Great House in St. Paul’s, St. Kitts.

The incident claimed the life of an eight (8) year-old boy from Willet’s Project, St. Paul’s, as he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) also processed the scene. An investigation into the matter is ongoing and the general public will be kept appropriately updated.

The RSCNPF expressed sincere condolences to the family and all who have been impacted by this tragedy.
