Lawmen seize contraband during empty lot search

Officers from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) within the Police Force in St. Kitts-Nevis recovered contraband items on Monday Aug. 21st.

 

 

 

The officers found nine (9) .45 rounds of ammunition on one of the lots, during a search of two (2) empty lots on East Street, St. Kitts.

 

 

 

Further searching also uncovered a quantity of a white powdery substance suspected to be Cocaine. Both sets of contraband were taken into Police custody. No one has been held accountable for the finds.

 

 

 

The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) of the Police Force processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. An investigation into the matter is ongoing and the general public will be kept appropriately informed of its developments.
