Lawmen have formally charged Lukelly Carmichael of Morning Star, Nevis, on three (3) warrants for the offence of Assault with Intent to Rob. Carmichael was charged on Saturday September 2nd, at the Newcastle Police Station.

A police spokesperson told the VONNEWSLINE, he was charged in relation to the Aug. 20th attempted robbery of Rams Supermarket, Nevis.

Last month, three (3) males were each charged on three (3) warrants for the offence of Assault with Intent to Rob, in relation to the above-mentioned attempted robbery.

Police charged Clijuarn Henry, Kennedy Rodriguez and T’iquan Pennyfeather. The trio was charged on Wednesday August 23rd. The charges follow a search that was executed on the vehicle being driven by Henry.

The vehicular search resulted in the collection of some items of evidential value and the apprehension of all three males by Police, at that time
