Sneakers Day and Caribbean Wellness Day were held last week, as part of activities for Caribbean Wellness Day, with the aim of confronting Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).

Caribbean Wellness Day (CWD) is celebrated on the second Saturday in the month of September. On Sneaker Day, Sep. 8th, persons wore a pair of sneakers, take a picture, add #sneakerday2023 and posted to the HPU’s Facebook page.

Caribbean Wellness Walk was held on Sep. 9th. Coordinator at the Health Promotion Unit-Nevis, is Nadine Carty.
