Federal government signs MOU with US Southern University
The federal government has announced the provision of another avenue for nationals seeking tertiary education.
Deputy Prime Minister & Federal Minister of Education, Dr. Geoffrey Hanley and President of Southern University, Louisiana USA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on September 13th at the campus grounds. According to Minister Hanley, the MOU signifies the alliance made between the two parties and the benefits it would provide for the development of Education in the federation.
Benefits include a reduction in tuition rates, the acceptance of certain academic credits, eliminating the time and cost needed to complete studies.
