“Remain vigilant” in the final four weeks of Atlantic Hurricane Season, says SK’s Met Office

His comments were made as there are only about four (4) weeks left, before the official end of the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season.

 

 

 

Recently, on October 3rd, Tropical Storm Philippe passed near St. Kitts and Nevis with Met and disaster officials reporting “no major/significant damage” in St. Kitts and “minimal damage” on Nevis. Then during the weekend of October 21st to the 22nd, Hurricane Tammy, passed near the Federation but no major damage were recorded in St. Kitts, nor Nevis.

 

 

 

The 2023 Atlantic hurricane season officially ends on November 30th.
