“Following the fire at the Four Seasons Resort, Nevis, does the Ministry of National Security, by extension the Federal Government see the need to invest in additional fire tenders for the island of Nevis?”

This question was posed by the VONNEWSLINE to the Prime Minister during his press conference on Tuesday November 7th. Dr. Terrance Drew, who is also the Minister of National Security said an assessment on the fire services in both St. Kitts & Nevis was done:

The October 31st fire at the Four Seasons Resort, Nevis, destroyed the gym and pro shop facilities at the Resort but the main hotel, guest rooms and villas, were not. There were no injuries or deaths. Despite this, fitness services were relocated.
