An autopsy was performed on the body of SKN’s 26th murder victim for 2023, Wilbert Pemberton. Lawmen responded to a fatal shooting incident which occurred in the vicinity of a mechanic shop in the New Road area, St. Kitts, on Saturday November 18th.

Pemberton, 23, was accosted by an armed assailant who shot him several times about the body while walking along the road.

He was transported to the JNF General Hospital via ambulance where he underwent emergency surgery. He succumbed to his injuries during the operation.

The autopsy, performed by Resident Pathologist Dr. Adrian Nuñez, revealed that the cause of death was severe head injury due to a gunshot wound to the head.
