A total of nine bills will receive their first readings in the first sitting of the National Assembly for 2024 on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024.

Bills to be read include Medical Laboratories Bill 2024, Anti-Smuggling Bill 2024, Immigration (Amendment) Bill 2024 and the Housing and Social Development Levy (Amendment) Bill 2024 which should also receive its second reading.

Additionally, the Freedom of Information (Amendment) Bill 2024, Ombudsman (Amendment) Bill 2024, Copyright Bill 2024, National Productivity Bill 2024 and the Architects Registration (Amendment) Bill 2024 will also be read.

The sitting will be held at the National Assembly Chambers, Basseterre, St. Kitts at 10am.
